Oscar Farrell – So Far South
Oscar Farrell shares “So Far South”, the title track from his upcoming EP due September 5 on George Daniel’s dh2 label. The track centers around a propulsive bass kick with scattered vocal textures, balancing confidential moments with club punch.
Farrell has been building a reputation for house and electronic productions that carry emotional weight rather than just floor-filling beats. “So Far South” continues this approach: music that works equally well in headphones and on packed dance floors.
The single follows “Dream Therapy”, his recent collaboration with Sampha, and a summer that included sets at Glastonbury alongside Joy (Anonymous), Lil Silva and Sampha.
He’ll mark the EP release with a headline show at The Glove That Fits in London on September 5. “So Far South” includes three additional tracks: “Timers”, “Orbits” and “I Need U”.
Farrell continues carving out space for electronic music that looks inward as much as outward, finding genuine emotion in club pulse.
